Production monitoring for the Food Industry
The Food Auditor system has been developed specifically for food manufacturers and packers.
You can maintain your product specification and recipes within the system. The specification can be customized to suit quality control requirements. For example, you may enforce sample checks on the inner & outer cartons, content, sell by dates, product weights, temperature, etc at a frequency of your choosing. Details of any non-conformance can be sent to your appointed recipient by either email or SMS text.
A series of efficiency reports can be run at anytime to ensure that production targets are met. Production status reports can be streamed at real-time onto large screens in boardrooms, production offices or the shop floor to visually show the production status.
The weight checking can be connected to an electronic scale to determine that a sample is within T1 and T2 tolerances.
Any bar-coding on the product and outer cases may be checked using a bar-code reader.
A count of completed products may be recorded on an hourly basis along with material batches/lots as they are consumed. The operators working on the order for the hour may also be recorded. The results may be used for efficiency reporting. There are a number of reports which analyse the quality sampling for the orders processed.
General Software Features
- It is possible to calculate the number of mixes needed to fulfil the material issue, based on the scale capacity.
- Multiple booths and multiple scales are supported and you may enforce regular scale calibrations.
- It is possible to perform campaign weighing for common products or materials.
- You may configure the system to supply barcode labels in a format of your choice for the weighed materials.
- A sequence of background colours and progress bars guides the operator through the weighing process. The material can not be completed until the weight falls within pre-configured tolerance.
- It is possible to change the batch/lot before the material has been fully weighed.
- The operator may abandon the weighing process at any stage and recover the position as soon as the order is re-processed.
- Once a material has weighed, an interface can issue the exact quantity within your ERP systems warehouse.
- The finished/bulk item can be received into the warehouse using a similar interface when all the material has been weighed.
- All the activity is logged within the systems database and they may be reported with a suite of standard reports.
